Our History
The Proptech Gurus is a young company started by Kylie Davis in 2020, specialising in strategic business advice, thought leadership and specialised digital marketing.
Originally named Kylie Davis Marketing, our first client was the amazing boutique, multi-awarding-winning winery, Smidge Wines, in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Since those early days, we have focused on our core competencies – strategic management advice and marketing strategy and execution in the technology and property sectors.
As founder, Kylie has leveraged her experience as National Editor (Real Estate) at News Corp and a senior marketing executive at CoreLogic, where she developed an unprecedented network of proptech and real estate leaders.
In 2020, she launched Proptech Australia – the industry body for proptechs – and continues to be its hardworking president. Shortly after, The Proptech Gurus took on the leadership and management of the real estate charity, The Rise Initiative. Together with leading principals of the real estate industry, Kylie launched the industry’s app for mental wellbeing, Real Care.
Today, with Kylie’s leadership, The Proptech Gurus works with enterprises predominantly in real estate and finance technology – growing areas of the economy that deliver innovation and efficiency across the property industry.
We love working with high-energy, visionary companies and their staff who want to make a difference. We share their desire to create amazing solutions that improve our experience with property and technology. This passion has led to Proptech Gurus delivering services in five countries – Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada and the Philippines.
